EDIBLE KALAMATA OLIVES
Our edible olive is the famous olive tree of Kalamata. It has the official name Olea Europea Ceraticarpa and is a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin).
Its harvest takes place in November-December by hand. A traditional recipe is then followed, in which the olives are placed in brine, organic olive oil and special organic vinegar of red wine. In 5 months they are ready to be carefully packed in glass jars. Also available in larger tinplate packs.
They are distinguished by their elongated shape, their shiny color and of course their excellent taste.
